FAQ | Memorial & Keepsake Jewellery Perth — EverKeepsakes

Welcome to EverKeepsakes. We create handmade memorial and keepsake jewellery in Perth, Australia, carefully preserving meaningful memories into beautiful, wearable pieces.

Here you'll find answers to some of our most frequently asked questions.

Getting Started

What is memorial jewellery?
Memorial jewellery is a special piece of jewellery created to hold or preserve a small amount of something meaningful, such as ashes, breastmilk, pet fur, hair or dried flowers. At EverKeepsakes, we use resin to carefully preserve these precious inclusions inside handmade pendants, rings and other keepsake jewellery pieces — a personal way to keep a loved one or beloved pet close to you wherever you go.
Do you make the jewellery in Australia?
Yes. EverKeepsakes is an Australian small business creating handmade jewellery and keepsakes in Perth, Western Australia. Orders can be placed online, with instructions provided for safely sending your inclusion to us.
What can be included in my keepsake?
We can set cremation ashes, hair, fur, breastmilk, dried flowers, fabric and other meaningful keepsakes into resin — just a small amount is needed.
Can I have more than one inclusion in my jewellery?
Yes, we're able to put more than one inclusion into a keepsake. Popular choices are breastmilk with hair, or ashes with hair or fabric.
How much ashes, hair or breastmilk do I need to send?
We only require 10ml of breastmilk or a quarter of a teaspoon of ashes. Hair can be just a few strands if not much is available, or more if you want a specific design. Anything left over is returned to you with your keepsake.
Is every piece of memorial jewellery handmade?
Yes. Every EverKeepsakes piece is individually handmade. Because natural inclusions such as ashes, fur, hair and flowers vary from person to person, your finished jewellery will be completely unique — small differences in colour, placement and appearance are a natural part of handmade memorial jewellery.
I'm based in Perth — can I bring my inclusion to you?
Yes, we would love to meet you. If you're based in Perth, you can bring your inclusion to us in the city or near the airport.
How do I safely send my inclusions if I'm not in Perth?
All inclusions can be sent to us by post. Postage is payable by you, and we recommend sending as tracked post with Australia Post. Our address is emailed to you once you've placed an order.
Can I order more than one piece from the same inclusion?
Absolutely — many customers order pieces for multiple family members from a single sample. Just let us know when you order if pieces are being placed separately so we can plan accordingly.
Will my ashes jewellery look exactly like the photographs?
No two pieces of memorial jewellery are exactly the same. The colour, shape, size and natural appearance of ashes, fur, hair and flowers can vary considerably, so your finished piece will have its own unique appearance. We carefully position inclusions to create a beautiful result, but can't guarantee an identical appearance to an example photograph.

The Process

How long does it take to receive my keepsake?
Once we receive your inclusions, your piece is handcrafted over 4 to 6 weeks. We'll send you a photo before shipping it.
How is my keepsake shipped?
Every piece is packaged with care and sent with tracked shipping via Australia Post, so you can follow its journey right to your door.
Do you ship internationally?
Message us with your location before ordering and we'll confirm shipping options and timelines for you.
Can I return personalised memorial jewellery?
Because each piece is individually handmade specifically for you and may contain your personal inclusion, personalised keepsake jewellery generally can't be returned simply because you change your mind. If there's a problem with your order or it arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist you.
